What's the best way to get to Bridgnorth? By steam train of course! There’ll be steam and diesel trains running all day, and there’ll be plenty of Harry Potter-style compartments to travel in (available on a first come, first served basis).

You can travel from Kidderminster all the way to Bridgnorth to kick start your A Wizards Birthday Celebrations in style or join the train at Bridgnorth for a short journey to Highley and back.

If you're already in Bridgnorth, steam trains depart at: 12.05pm, 2.50pm and 4.10pm.

From the platform and footbridge, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the locomotive works, where you might catch a steam engine taking on coal and water, or being maintained by the Railway’s engineers. Make sure you visit either the GWR-style refreshment room or the on-platform pub or the Railwayman’s Arms, which has been serving pints since 1861!
